Now what

So first off, sorry for not posting for so long, computer troubles!!!!

As far as bodyrock goes, I am not liking the HIIT Combat at all. Lisa even looks uncomfortable doing it.
I have read many of the reviews on Zuzana's DVD's and most people like them, but 2 problems: some say it is the same as watching her for free on youtube, but I guess it is probably nice to have the DVD's on hand. For $15.95 it's hard to go wrong. Secondly, many of the people who gave it a negative review said they could not play the DVD's at all. I wonder if they did mass copying and something went wrong. Not good though! They need to fix that and ASAP.

I have commented before that I think all of them on both sites work out for more than 12 minutes a day. A reader of this blog just commented that she sees Sean and Lisa working out at the gym. Hmmmm......

Also, Zuzana swears she doesn't do more than the workouts she shows us, BUT, how many retakes does she need to do? I highly doubt they get the workouts right the first time every time. Secondly, she does an instructional video each time, so right there is more exercise. Not a lot, but again, I wonder how many takes she needs to do to get it right.

I was watching some videos with the yoga girl Teshia over the weekend, and she really has a beautiful body. Wow. I wonder if they will do more yoga.

Zuzana mentioned yoga and had a couple of her workouts including stretching, but that disappeared real fast!

So, now what? I wonder what they'll be up to next. Zuzana mentioned her divorce the other day which I found odd. She randomly mentions Jesse, her boyfriend, from time to time.
I wonder if Lisa and Freddy break up if there will be another girl with 6 pack abs and a boob job will take over. LOL.

  1. Not that I'm a fan of break ups but it will be a whole other level of drama when/if Freddy and Lisa break up. I wasn't a follower of the Bodyrock team when Freddy and Zuzanna broke up, so I know that if this happened it would be EPIC on so many scales. Lisa said that they record one video a day but you're right, that doesn't mean that they don't do other workouts. I found myself getting discouraged because as much as I found Lisa's style to be awesome, she's somebody I can't relate to. She gets paid to workout, millions, I'm sure, judging by her procedures, vacations, clothing (everyday and exercise), devices, gadgets, etc. She gets paid to workout all day while I get up at 5am to workout/do laundry/get ready for work, am at a desk job from 9-6, work a side job in my off hours, and try to clean, cook and be a good girlfriend all while trying to take care of myself so I can look and feel good. I can't relate to her. But I can relate to someone like Ashlee Hendry (you should look her up if you don't know who she is. Lisa actually copied one of her before/after photos to her Instagram and was like "wow, results! Bodyrock for free!" like it was the result of Bodyrock. It wasn't). I could go on and on about this. I'm torn because I like a good workout and I want to look amazing, but I don't think everyone on the Bodyrock/The Daily HIIT team is as honest as we'd hope they are about how they've reached their level of fitness AND aesthetic.

Anyway, rant aside ---- I'm personally adding 45 minutes of cardio to any other routines that I do. I'm on a three-month self-program to be fitter by summertime and I've just got to incorporate what I've learned and what I'm capable of instead of following one program religiously (such as Bodyrock).

    1. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it, and I understand you completely. Lisa is hard to relate to, and has an unattainable body.
      Though Zuzana doesn't either.
I don't think either are as honest about their workouts as they should be.

    2. True, Zuzanna's body though is a little more... I don't know. I mean, she's just as strong, I guess her body type feels a little more attainable to me. I've got thicker thighs and there's very little I can do except tone up what I've got and back it up, lol. Nothing against genetics but Lisa has visibly gotten a lot of extras done that it's hard to know what she's being honest about with the rest of her body. All I know is that Zuzana had breast implants and everything else seems to be of natural gains. I would really like to know what they do to get in fighting shape, as it were. Not that i'd be able to follow the program, but they've just got to be doing something more than the recorded workouts, and any extra little cardio or weights at the gym. it's just a bit discouraging, even though I know the only person you should be 'in competition' with is yourself.

  2. I am so surprised Bodyrock hasn't deleted this post. Lisa Marie use to follow Bodyrock before she became the host. She has admitted to doing far more than "just body rock" like she now claims. She posted this photo and in the comments section, in response to other ppls comments, wrote this:

"Hi sharon, I really have to work hard, I vary between 8 1/2 and nine stone. I don't know how Z does it with only 20 mins a day and the rest days. I run before work for about 20 mins before breakfast and a group of us all get together and do z's bodyweight circuits at night for about 45 mins which includes a few abs to finish :)"
