So FIVE new workouts this week! Cardio Shred, Beginner Cardio, 5 min workout, JRC #9 (these are always my favorites) and a new Power yoga.

The Cardio Shred Workout today was to target the glutes. Zuzka had this to say:
Get ready to strengthen, tone and shape your butt!! I was using my 6 lb dumbbells for this routine but just to let you know I’m going to upgrade and get a heavier pair for workouts like this. I decided to double up and see what happens. You guys should experiment with different free weights as well. It’s good to have a variety of weights – not saying you need a whole rack but it’s good to have at least 2 options.

OK, that's good, because seriously, two 6 lb dumbbells? She has been using them forever and it is certainly time to upgrade. She does hip lifts with them and I use over 100 lbs for bridging. LOL.

Zuzka also has a new recipe that looks pretty tasty!

So Lisa is back!!!! Yippee. She posted that day #1 shooting is done. I know lots of you will be happy that she is back.
Lisa also posted this pic of herself:

This is definitely a new look for Lisa. Love the hair. Her arms look more muscular than normal - love the way they look. Not a fan of the over done cleavage though - makes her look like she is trying too hard.

Freddy posted this and it is a great and happy looking pic of Lisa:

Looks like the weighted vest is back. You can get one for only $60 HERE!!!

There are also other options that are a little different than what Lisa uses. but WAY cheaper!
There is one that is all black and adjustable from 4-8 lbs for a measly $25!!!! Click HERE.

Of course Lisa's abs look fabulous. I have been working on mine. Pisses me off though - there is just loose skin from pregnancy and there is nothing I can do about it. It's not as noticeable as some women's, so I should count my blessings, but I freaking know it is there.
And my kids were so worth it. Even if they have been driving me nuts. We've had such a horrible winter we all have major cabin fever. We got more snow on Sunday and broke the all time record for the most snowfall EVER in one winter in my area. And it is the 3rd coldest winter in recorded history in my area too. UUGGHH. Thank God for my workouts. They keep me sane.

So here is a pic I found with a woman in her 30's with loose skin due to her second pregnancy.

Mine is not as bad as that pic - and not to say hers is that bad either (I've seen worse). but what is one to do other than have surgery? I mean she is thin and in decent shape here. SO NOT FAIR! Looking at Lisa's abs then - does it become discouraging for you guys or encouraging? No matter how hard this woman works, her abs would never look like Lisa's without surgery. What do you guys think?

    1. Very frustrating! Just keep working on getting stronger and then skin will continue to tighten, but yes only to a certain degree. Both Lisa and Z don't have kids! Too bad loose belly skin wasn't celebrated as a mark of beauty of having kids instead of making us feel like we need surgery!

  2. I haven't had kids and wonder whether parts of my body will ever be firmer without some sort of surgery. I was bigger in the past and I don't know if it's loose skin or just where my fat tends to settle. I'm not giving up, though; I've been doing research and am putting it into practice. Also, getting more sleep at night has definitely helped a lot. We'll see how things go, but I understand how frustrating it can be.
