Zuzka's Last of 6:02 Series, More BR Yoga, More with Chris Tye-Walker and SNOW!!!

Zuzka posted her last installment of the 6:02 series today. It was done to show off her new  clothes from Six:02 and she said she has no more new clothes from there to inspire those workouts. LOL.

I often wonder if she keeps working out after the 6:02 time frame is up. I mean it hardly seems getting sweaty like that for only 6 minutes - unless it is first thing in the morning before a shower. :)

The 6:02 was a decent enough little workout - if you kept going. :) I like it better when she does these as body weight workouts instead of Kettlebells and jump ropes. But that's me! :)

BR posted their latest installment of yoga: http://www.dailyhiit.com/hiit-blog/hiit-workout/yoga/bodyrock-yoga-flow-4/

I also received the next installment of Chris as a BR Plus Member. I watched it today and I LOVED it. It is a lot of weight training stuff which I always like better. The workouts are too short, but it is so easy to do more rounds of these workouts or combine a couple of them - especially when they are more structured like these are. These are some of my favorite workouts that BR has EVER done!

I think that both the yoga and Chris's workouts have been kind of anti-climatic. I think because they are only doing one a week. I know they want to stretch out time between now and when Lisa comes back, but why not make a bigger deal out of these workouts? Why not offer THREE of Chris a week and 2 yoga? Or even 2 of each and one repeat of a HIIT Max with Lisa? Instead of just one a week. I think it takes away from the whole appeal, the following of the new workouts, looking forward to what is coming the next day, etc. What do you guys think?

I cannot believe how much snow and cold we have gotten over this winter. How many hundred of dollars we have spent having our driveway and ROOF shoveled, getting rid of icicles that weight more than I do, shoveling out our backyard in order to get an oil delivery, and our front steps are completely falling apart from all the snow and ice. Once spring comes it will have to be gutted and re-done. UGH. I'm a BIG fat whiner over this I know. But I wanted to share this with you guys:

A FROZEN WAVE - this is on a beach about 2 hours away from my house. Do you have any idea how cold it has to be for ocean water to freeze mid-wave?

I hardly want to leave the house and it is so depressing! Thank God I have workout equipment at home.

OK, I'll stop complaining now.

Enjoy your workouts everyone!

  1. Maybe Zuzka will bring back some new and improved Zwow? I would love so. I also love the 6:02 series. I did not get inspired by Chris workouts, except for the first one wich I really love, I tried his abs workout this week and get really bored after the 3 first sets. :-(

    1. I like Chris, but I don't like most ab workouts - Lisa's or Z's either. The 6:02 series was fun. :)

  3. I''ve been doing BR's 30 day throwback challenge, which has been fun but kinda wiped me out yesterday since I added on to it :) but it's been fun. I just wish they've been featuring it more on Facebook or something. And I agree that having made the bootcamp and power yoga features more on a pseudo-schedule would have been really neat. But oh well. Live and learn, I guess?

  5. Wow this pic of frozen wave is so good! It seems unreal cold! I don't like only ab workouts too. Abs get work from push ups, squat and so many exercises that actually they need less work compared to booty, back and hamstring.
