Freddy Might Be Having a Contest for BR!


He also mentions that BR is mentioned in Muslce & Fitness Hers as one of the best online fitness sites. Way to go BR!
Last week it was mentioned in Marie Claire. I need to go out and see who else is on these lists.

As far as the contest goes. I think BR should offer their workout equipment. :)

  1. In the magazine, it says Lisa is a co-owner of BR. I don't think it's right, she,s a host but not a co-owner or maybe I'm wrong?

  2. I meant to bring this up but forgot. There is a video where Zuzana talks about having a herniated disc and thinking she was going to have surgery (this was last year). I just found this so surprising because I don't recall her every not posting new workouts...yet she said she was in so much pain and on pain killers.

    1. Wow, this is so bad. But I think nobody with herniated disk can do such workouts, are you sure Z has this?

    3. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure it was mentioned in a recent coffee talk video and she showed us what book helped and that she would be adding this to our schedules once she is qualified? not sure though

    1. AH! Yes, thanks Rachael. Now I remember. I didn't initially give it much thought because I thought it was a ploy to sell a book. She has never seemed to have ANY injuries to me - EVER. Not the way she jumps around!

    2. It is good she recovered. Such injury for a trainer is end of the carrier, it is awful. But I agree with Gina, it seems to me ploy to sell such exercises. If she have such pain, she must do back exercises, which lack in her workouts. Lots of abs exercises and no back exercises is a proven way for back injury.

  4. Yah, that is the video. I was thinking she must have had tonnes of videos pre-made and when she got the injury, she just happened to have them stockpiled anyways? Then just used them?

    1. Ha ha :) why people think it is easy to pre made videos :) A video is a real workout, I can't do 2 workouts per day :) If I can, the video is not real workout but a movie :) The idea of the workout is to push really hard and hit your limits and go out of comfort zone!

  5. I don't think it is easy to make videos- never said that. But I recall Zuz saying in the past she makes several ahead of time in case something happens and she is unable to film. This back issue seems like it would fit that.

  6. I rember her saying that too and we have to rember her videos are between 12 and 20/min most of us do double if not triple that.

    1. BTW while I miss Lisa's workouts I did do the double workout on Monday followed by yogar 3 as my cool down. I really enjoyed it I've said this many times but I'm gonna try cutting my carbs. Following her nutrition advise and see what 2 weeks of that do for me.

      Also- she either had many pre-made videos ready to go when she happened to have her injury....or she is lying about her injury. And I don't think she is lying about the injury
