Hell Week from Bodyrock.tv Continues, but more new stuff is coming, Zuzka's Schedule this Week, How many Calories Should you be Eating?

The best of HIIT Max is on again this week with Lisa. I wish she would have done a best of all time instead if they were going to do repeats again. And why do they call it Hell Week? And I notice that Lisa a lot of times says "I know this exercise is horrendous." Hmmm... I think putting a positive spin on it is better? The Best of the Best Week, this exercise is fantastic for your glutes even though it's hard, etc, etc. Has anyone else noticed that? Glass should be half full - right? :)

Lisa did say that this is the last week of Season 3, and new stuff is coming with Season 4. Nothing on when Season 4 is starting, if it is Lisa or that Chris guy or the yoga they've been working on, etc, etc.
She did say it is the last week of repeats though.

Zuzka posted her latest schedule, and not a lot of new stuff from her either this week:

Today's workout looks killer though. A LOT of jumping. Thursday has a new KB workout for beginners, and Sunday a new yoga workout, and the rest of the week is repeats as well.
Sigh....
I always look forward to the new stuff, but I do realize how hard it must be to keep up with that ALL the time.

I did a post for BR's dailyhiit on how many calories you should be eating, so check it out and give it a like! :)

  1. For me what counts more is the workout schedule. I don't mind the repeats as long as I know which workout I have to do. Often I navigate between to weekly schedule to fits it with my other workouts like cycling or hiking

    1. That makes sense. I think we just get spoiled by the new stuff. As paying ZGym members and BR Plus members, I think there is a certain expectation that needs to be met. But having a schedule is probably the most important thing.

    2. You are right, when we pay for services, we want new stuff. Zuzka has 3 new workouts this week. 2 weeks of recycle workouts for BR this is one of the reason I am not a Plus member.

  2. I'm not really enjoying the Hell Week(s), to be honest. I haven't been following. I'm not a BR Plus member, either, but I'd be a little unnerved if I were. Are the bonuses new, at least?

    1. Me to, I am really disappointed with those hell weeks, I like it when things are interesting and keep me guessing, not when I repeat the same workouts again. I am sticking with Rumiana´s workouts now, they are fun, challenging and have many different moves, not just five types of push ups, tuck jump a tricep dips, as I sometimes feel with bodyrock.

    2. Rumi has a great workout right now that is intense without all the jumping. I get tired of all the jumping. Don't get me wrong - I actually LOVE to jump. But enough is enough. Too much jumping is hard on the joints and can break DOWN muscle. One of the reasons I like KB's so much is the intensity without the impact. I also want a program that I can continue to so as I grow older. Does Zuzka and Lisa really think they are going to be jumping around their living rooms in their 60s? Maybe, idk, and I'm not trying to pick on anyone who is older. I'm in my 40s and my joints can feel it sometimes and I actually take care of myself! :)

    3. LOL, I just imagined both those ladies in their 60s doing their "burpee push up one leg behind neck jump tuck kick through with an overhead press"...:)) I am with you on this jumping stuff. I love jumping, I enjoy HIIT, I love to sweat, but sometimes body just needs change and rest from this high impact kind of workouts. Kettlebells are awesome, no jumping and still such a hard work!
