Which diet is best?

There is a Ridiculous amount of conflicting information out there about which diet is best to follow.
Paleo, Atkins, Vegan, Raw foodist, South Beach, etcetera !
A lot of it takes some self experimentation, and a lot of it depends on your likes, needs, and goals. Some people thrive on a plant-based diet but others do not and need meat in their diet.

Here is an interesting article on nutrition:

Some really good tips and basic, solid advice.

I think almost absolutely everyone needs more fruits and veggies in their diet. This is where Juice Plus can come in!
It helps bridge the gap between what you are you eating and what you should be eating.
Juice plus is not a supplement it is actual food!
25+ fruits and vegetables are dehydrated and ground up into powder form and put into capsules. Your body absorbs all of the nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants, unlike other vitamins where you pee most of it out. Even better it's under 20 cal per day, and under two dollars a day. :)

Feel free to contact me for more information otherwise happy eating.

  1. Juice Plus sounds interesting. I will definitely look up more about it. :) Thanks for the link on diet, as well! Some great points.

Just want to quote you, as I totally agree with it: A lot of it takes some self experimentation, and a lot of it depends on your likes, needs, and goals. Some people thrive on a plant-based diet but others do not and need meat in their diet.

I did the Paleo diet for a while and have modified it since to include some grains, as I find I do better with that additional energy. Sometimes I have yogurt but I'm weaning myself off of that with pudding made from almond or coconut milk and chia seeds. The protein value is amazing; I'd never realized it before. I also eat a lot less meat than I did when first trying out Paleo (to some, Paleo means 'all meat, all the time', ugh)... so I'm thinking I may try a vegetarian or all out vegan diet down the line to see what further options I uncover. Like you said, it takes experimentation and seeing what works best for an individual person.

    1. Protein seems to make a big difference for me too. sometimes though I wonder how I would do on a plant based diet.....

    2. I think it's totally possible. With the exception of some sort of meat at dinner (and yogurt for an afternoon snack) my meals are largely plant-based -- and it's actually kind of weird for me because I never thought it'd be done behaviorally and not as a chore, so to speak.

My brain and body functions better with protein, too. Chickpeas, almond milks, raw nuts and chia seeds are already part of my diet, but I've yet to venture into tofu territory. More research is needed, heh.
