Bodyrock's new challenge starts today and another outdoor workout for you

OK, what is WRONG with BR? Nothing against Rita - she's GREAT, but day 1 of BR's new challenge most certainly should have been with Lisa.
I am not sure if they are doing this to get people talking, but at some point they are going to have to answers people's questions about where Lisa is - period.
It also makes me feel bad for Rita as people are going to be harder on her because of Lisa's absence!
Perhaps we should just be used to BR's inconsistencies at this point.

If anyone wants to do a workout outdoors, grab your KB and jump rope and here we go!

Workout:

100 jump rope skips
10 Tricep Push Up Burpees
5 KB Snatches Rt, 5 KB Snatches Lt
KB Farmers Walk 40 steps (Right hand holds KB)
Put down KB and then Sprint 20 Seconds
Fast paced Walk Back
Pick up KB for Farmers Walk 40 Steps (Left hand holds KB)

Repeat 3 more times for a total of 4 rounds. Enjoy!

  1. CrossFit sounds really cool! I like the idea of competition. But I don't have the funds for it right now.

    BR promised Lisa and longer workout videos. Not 12 minute ones! What I love about the 30 RTC is the longer workouts. Although I could never do one of those without the real time video, they were really motivating and quite tough! And you need to workout at least 30 minutes for some fat burn. And 12 minutes isn't enough for me, and I don't feel like adding more 12 minute workouts in.

    What I love about Tati is the competition against yourself and the sense of community.

    Would you classify Zuzka's and BR's workouts as full body?

    1. I think most of their workouts are full body - but too short. You need to repeat the 12 min 2-3 tines for a full effect, or add it onto your regular workout. I have always said that Zuzka rarely incorporates enough pulling exercises in her workouts and over does the pushing.
      Tati's latest upper body challenge was almost TOO hard. I couldn't do the handstand walks with dumbbells, only bodyweight, and even then not well. I wonder if she used to be a gymnast?

    2. She used to be a professional ice skater, and that's where she gets her fitness approach from. I haven't actually done that upper body challenge yet! Which is the reason why my upper body is so poor. If I could, I would only do lower body workouts.

      That's what I love about her work outs. They're almost too hard to begin with, but when you revisit it, you'll find that it's easier. They really do get results.

    3. I'm going to try that upper body workout again tomorrow! I knew she had to have some sort of athletic background.

    4. Oh no wonder why I used to get injuries from those workouts! Aren't you not supposed to do full body workouts every day? But every other day with a rest day in between? I've been switching from doing that or dividing into lower and upper body workouts and I've gotten much better results now than I did before.

    5. Ideally full body every other day, but depending on your fitness level 2 days in a row is fine as long as you vary the exercises.

  2. Lisa has said she will do a longer challenge when she is in Spain in August. So we will have to wait and see. I honestly think she is a part owner only now. If she does the challenge, that would be great, but I don't see her being involved with the group anymore. Someone asked her on facebook who the challenge was with and she said "the woman that was in those previous pictures"...and when they were doing the pregnancy workouts, she instagramed behind the scene photos and spelled the name of the host incorrectly. Sad.

    1. Sad is right. If she is part owner then she should know what is going on! Freddy promises big changes in August so we will have to wait and see what is going on.

  3. Dang. About an hour ago, posted on Freddys newly instated page was a thank you to the team "in no specific order". He listed the photographers, the person who does their social media, the camera men, and Lisa was last, saying something like for always believing in me and the dream. Now it is gone! And there are two pictures of Lisa on his page. Still don't believe him. I think they are through but he doesn't want to state it because he knows people are her fans, not as much his.
