The 30 day challenges, the squat and ZWOW's vs. ZShred

The next 30 day challenge from bodyrock.tv is coming in 5 days, starting on Jan 15th. I'm curious if it will be more of the same or entirely different? I also wonder if they will throw in Melissa's workouts on their Facebook page here and there like they did before. Melissa has not posted a new workout to her own site since Nov 28th!

Zuzka's 30 day challenge starts next week as well. Very interesting that both sites have 30 day challenges coming up at the same time. I wonder if Zuzka will offer any more free workouts during that time as ALL of bodyrock.tv's are FREE.

I found a VERY interesting article on squatting - why some people do so much better with this exercise than others. A great read! This is why people like Zuzana can do pistol squats much easier than others. It's all about anatomy folks -which boils down to genetics. Lastly, Zuzana herself posted on her web-site about losing weight vs. building muscle. I do not think she wrote anything there that we all haven't seen or read before, but she did make an interesting comment that her ZShreds were aimed more towards muscle building than her ZWow's. I read on Facebook that someone thought her ZShreds were more cardio based. Hmmmmm..... I think most of her ZShreds are harder than the ZWow's - except ZWow #71, ZWow #100 and the Benchmark workout are among the toughest.
