Bodyrock.tv's Nutrition Guide and Zuzana's Recipes

So I took the bodyrock.tv 5 day challenge and now ordered the new Daily Hiit 14 day nutrition guide. The 5 day challenge as I said before was just like any other workouts they've (thedailyhiit.com or bodyrock.tv - who knows what is what!) posted before.
I have not had a chance to read through the whole nutrition guide, but it looks great. It is based on a 1500 or 1800 calorie diet, which is reasonable. I eat over 2500 calories and at 5'7" tall and 125 lbs, it is what I need to maintain my weight and activity level. I know this is way above normal, but I do not have a normal metabolism either. :)
I think I probably should work my way down to 2000 as I want more muscle definition. Perhaps this nutrition guide will help. I will keep you posted on what I think as I go through it. The recipes look terrific though! Can't wait to try some of them.
I'm always amazed at how little Zuzana eats. Seriously? Who can eat that little amount. I do not know how she maintains the amount of muscle mass she has. Her fish recipe she made last night looks super yummy, but I would have needed way more to eat to be full. Perhaps she is lucky and feels full easily. I do not. Also, once I start eating I get hungrier. Does this happen to anyone else?
Both sites have some great recipe recommendations. They really do.
Thedailyhiit.com has a $50 off coupon and free nutrition guide of you order ALL of their equipment. I wonder just how much they will make off of all of those sales......

  1. Hey- I just found your blog. I've been trying to find reviews on the nutrition plan by body rock....and can't seem to find anything. Not that it is going to break the bank, but if its not worth the $ I'd rather not spend it. Was wondering what you thought of it? I assume you have had a chance to try it. Please let me know, I'd love to hear your opinion!
    Thanks!

    1. The nutrition guide is ok. Nothing in there you haven't seen before. It is 61 pages long (with lots of pics). But it does have some great recipes, and it does have a meal plan of what to eat if you like having it all laid out for you. The meal plans are 1500 or 1800 calories - a sample of what Lisa eats vs. Sean. They recommend 5-6 small meals a day. It gives you tips and rules to abide by. It also gives you the calorie and macronutrient break down of each recipe. Hope that helps!

  3. Did you change from 2500 to 2000? And did you see results?

    1. The biggest change I saw was that I was hungry all the time. LOL. I'm a bit of an anomaly as my body is very very resistant to change. You've probably seen me mention before that even when I was pregnant I gained very little weight. I've also been the same wait for over 20 years. My body likes to stay where it is regardless of how much I eat or how much exercise or how little. But that's not to say other people wouldn't change significantly with changes they make. It just happens to be my body type

    4. It is a blessing and a curse at the same time. I'd be covered in cellulite if I did not work out, but I'll always be thin no matter what. I'd love to gain some muscle, but just as hard for me to do that as it is for others to lose weight.
