Zuzka's Latest Workout Schedule, Lifted Butt Series #18, BR.TV's Risky Photo? And Marianne Kane is BACK With An 18 Min Kettlebell Workout!

Zuzka's latest schedule is up and I am glad to see that her Cardio Shred will be back this week:



Her newest workout is Lifted Butt #18 and it is a pretty good one - a definite booty burner and the combo of swings and jumping lunges will get your heart rate up there. I do wish she would throw in an upper body exercise here and there in these routines, but that's just my preference. I like more full body workouts. 

Workout Breakdown
1. Side Lunge Dead lift with power band x 10 with the Beast (20 with normal size)
*if you don’t have a really heavy kettlebell and 10 reps with your kettlebell don’t seem like a challenge, then double the amount of reps and move faster.
2. Kneeling heel lift /hip abduction  with power band x 20/20
3. Side to side sumo squat with power band x 10 with the Beast (20 with normal KB)
*if you don’t have a really heavy kettlebell and 10 reps with your kettlebell don’t seem like a challenge, then double the amount of reps and move faster.
4. Kettlebell swing (x 10) + Jump Lunge (x 10) x 4 sets
*if you don’t have a really heavy kettlebell and 10 reps with your kettlebell don’t seem like a challenge, then double the amount of reps and move faster.

+ Burn Out:
10 x Side to Side Sumo Squat with the Beast / 10 x Side to side squat with power band x 5 sets total
*if you don’t have a really heavy kettlebell and 10 sumo squats with your kettlebell don’t seem like a challenge, then double the amount of reps.

OK, I know BR ALWAYS posts risque photos, and it doesn't bother me. Sexy images sell and it is what many of us are after ourselves - I just hate all the plastic surgery that goes with it, because many of us don't want to go under the knife or cannot afford it, so it can be discouraging. 
you can see the edges of her nipples. Either this is the first time I have noticed, or they don't usually do that? 
Anyways, this article recommends the Crab Twist move and I like it! I would do this in my Core class or my yoga class.

Set your for 18 cycles of 20 seconds rest and 40 seconds effort. Perform 3 rounds of the following 6 exercises:
  1. Alternating Reverse Lunge
  2. Hand Step-Overs
  3. Side to Side Step Overs
  4. Ballistic Row
  5. Burpee
  6. Two-Handed Swing
She does bodyweight reverse lunges, so you can either add weight or do jumping lunges to make it more intense. She does the burpee with a push-up, so omit it if need be, but she doesn't do the jump, so add it in if you like more intensity. 
I always liked her well-rounded workouts - always a push, pull, legs, abs, and cardio in one.
