Zuzka's Guns & Pistols Series, BR's Squat challenge, Repeating the Exercise Challenges, and a pic of Lisa?

Zuzka posted her latest series - Guns and Pistols.
She sure gave up on the yoga cardio fast! That only lasted a week. All of her other series were 4 weeks long.
I am assuming the "Guns and Pistols" means arms and single leg squat workouts - which sounds great to me. Even though I still need assistance with pistols, I love them.
Her 1st workout in this series looks pretty good. Push up variations and pistols. Just needs a pull exercise to make it a complete total body workout.

BR posted a squat challenge for Sept that looks pretty terrific - I am considering doing it! Though I am not sure that doing multiple reps of BW exercises tones as well as weights. It could be more for endurance. I'll have to look into it a bit more. Day 8 is where it starts to get a little challenging, so I'll start there instead of day 1.

OK, if you want to repeat the 7 exercise challenges from the last 2 weeks, and see if you can beat yourself from last time, go for it! Here's the list. Repeat them one more timed this week and you'll finish up jut in time for Edith's challenge starting Sept 1. :)
EXERCISE CHALLENGES:
1. Squat Tabata
2. Plank Challenge
3. Pull up Challenge
4. Hip Thruster
5. Handstand Hold Tabata
6. Kettlebell Swing
7. Yoga challenge

If you do not remember what each of them are, just click on the challenge itself and you'll be brought to the page with the description.
You can also do these together to make a complete workout.

Lastly, is this a pic of Lisa? It doesn't look like her at all to me, but the comments all assume it is. I don't know if these are her tattoos or not. I think some of them are new if they are?

  1. It is Lisa; her tattoos are a little bit hidden in the shadows. I don't know; maybe it's just me but these photos aren't a good representation of how amazing her body is. But if this is a representation of "who she wants to be" as the sentiment states, then okily dokily.

    1. I agree Lindsey - not a good rep of how amazing her body is.

  2. I am not trying to be a prude but I think it's unnecessary and sad that she would get naked (almost) in front of Freddie for this. This doesn't show the amazingness of her body. and yes it is her. If you facebook Lisa Marie Zboden or whatever her last name is...she has a personal page where you can see lots of her pictures.

    1. One of the reasons that Zuzka said she left Freddy was because he always wanted her to pose in these outrageous poses.

  3. I looked on Lisa's facebook page and she has post from couple days ago saying she recorded 26 realtime videos in 5 days! I am hoping this means the new realtime challenge has shorter workouts. Either that or Lisa is a machine!!

    1. I know, I noticed that too!

    2. 26 videos in 5 days... if they're 12-minute videos, then I personally hope that means they can be done 2 or 3 times for a longer workout. I have a feeling it'll be in the same style as the Bodyrock Bootcamp they did earlier this year. But I'm likely wrong!

If the videos ARE 12 minutes in length, that's about 5 videos a day; looks like Lisa would be getting at least 60 minutes of working out in a day. Apparently 12 minutes isn't all you need after all ;)

    3. I noticed that too - 26 videos in 5 days? That's insane. Why would she post that info?

  4. I noticed that as well. Lisa has said herself though that back in the day when she was just a follower of BR that she did much more than just those workouts to stay in shape.

    1. Lisa posted a photo on instagram the other day http://instagram.com/p/sIqW8CwFxj/?modal=true

About how Bodyrocking and a moderation diet got her her abs... and someone commented "I wish I was paid to work out and not have school and work and family", and I had a good chuckle. It helps when you are paid to workout and have the leisure to do so as much as you'd like. But aside from that, yeah, I'll never forget what she said before her "face of Bodyrock" days as far as how she achieved her body - and she's only increased her aesthetic so I find it hard to swallow the Bodyrock approach to fitness -- unless it includes 45-60 minutes of intense work.
