Lots of stuff going on both sites

Bodyrock.tv - which seems to be staying bodyrock and not changing to the dailyhiit (as of yet) - has lots of new videos up. Finally, after that long break, they've got a bunch of new stuff posted.
It's pretty good, still a bit hard to navigate around their site. They've got fancy pictures of the workouts, but then the workout itself is done in a different venue and in a different outfit.
This makes me think that these guys work out far more than 12 minutes a day.
Since it is not in real time, we do not know how many takes they film, and also, the pics they take over and over again to post. They must workout all day!
Lisa wears the same outfit on various days so you know that they filmed it all at once, but posted it on a different day. Lisa and Sean have lots of new outfits too.
Does anyone else notice that Lisa's form is often poor? She does not always squat or lunge that well. Her squats are not always deep, and her knees cave inwards when she lunges. When she does squat jumps or burpees she never goes deep in the squats, and her upper back is rounded. It looks so weird that she never extends her arms either when she jumps.
I much prefer the Zuzka form of burpees as she squats full and deep, and jumps up fully extending her arms. I get much more out of the exercise that way. It is harder!
Zuzka posted her diet and much to my surprise it was higher in calories than I thought it would be. I can eat more than a football team (LOL) so I'd starve on that, but I remember her doing something similiar last year on bodyrock and it was such a ridiculous amount of nothing! Makes me wonder how much Freddy had to do with it as she was much thinner when she was with him, and Lisa is a string bean. She looks really great these days.
I would love to know if doing only her workouts and following her diet would work for me. Zuzana obviously puts on muscle easily, and I certainly do not. Zuzana has a Madonna like muscle body-type. I have more of a Gwenyth Paltrow type, and think I need the heavy weights to look muscular.
No new workout yet today from Zuzka and waiting for the preview. It is usually posted on Tuesday nights. She's got lots of new diet and nutrition advice posted up there though and a worthwhile read.

  2. Hello! You had mentioned here that they (BR) must work out more than 12 minutes a day. I live in Kingston and for the last week I had been going to the gym right after work (around 430pm) and I would see Lisa and Sean there doing weight workouts. Before this I had thought two things, 1) that they all did their own workouts at home and 2)that they had or could afford whatever equipment they didn't have at home. Maybe they have to lift heavy weights so they don't wither away to nothing with the insane cardio they do, or maybe they like the attention of working out in a public gym, or maybe it's nothing at all. I know I was just very surprised to see them there. All that to say yes, I believe they are working out more and/or doing different exercises than what they show on the site.
