How long will Lisa's workouts be for this next challenge?

Here is what somebody posted on Lisa's FB page:

They are 16 min but each day you add on. So day 2 is 1&2, day 3 is 1,2&3 and by day 5 it is all 5. It's going to be killer!! :)

Not sure how that's going to work, but seems a bit like over training the same muscles several days in a row with the same routines ?

  1. It also seems like an easy way for them to get out of having to come out with more routines :) Just recycle....

  2. I think it will get pretty boring to repeat the same workout all thoughout the week. During the famous RTC she did a lot of bilateral isolation exercises for shoulders and triceps like - 30 sec around the world/10 sec rest/30 sec skip/10 sec rest/30 sec round the world other way/10 sec rest/30 sec skip/one arm shoulder press/10 sec rest/30 sec skip/10 sec rest/30 sec shoulder press other side/10 sec rest/30 sec skip/10 sec rest/30 sec one arm tricep press etc.
It became 30-45 min of only isolation of some of the smallest muscle groups. Where was the compound moves? It seemed very ineffective and very boring. Plus if she is going to do a 16 min routine of only triceps and shoulder isolation to repeat every day during the week (during almost all her challenges she has started of with "arm day") your rotator cuff is going to complain!

    1. Thanks for your comment Ann - and I agree! Too repetitive, not enough compound moves and tough on the joints in an ineffective way.
